Mia Hansen brings 30 years of passion and experience in festival & event management, cultural exchange initiatives and non-profit management to every project. She is a director/producer/consultant with a degree in Dance / Recreation & Park Management from the University of Oregon.
Mia serves as the Treasurer & Past President of FEATSAZ - Festivals & Events Association of Tucson and Southern Arizona. She works with many local organizations producing, choreographing, directing and consulting for events including: Southeast Arizona Birding Festival, Tucson Meet Yourself, Tucson World RefugeeFEST, Taste of Asia, Family Arts Festivals, Arizona Balalaika Orchestra, Up with People International Alumni Association, and the National Danish Performance Team.
Mia's focus on cross-cultural communication has led her to volunteer with refugees recently resettled in Tucson. She continues to enjoy festival production, dance, exercise and good food.
