About me
Kaitlan Lay has over thirteen years of experience in the field of Indigenous relations, building collaborative partnerships with First Nations communities, leading consultation and engagement processes, and advancing reconciliation initiatives. Kaitlan has been involved with the Canada Together event since it was reimagined and collaboratively planned with representatives from the local First Nations in 2022. Residing in Vancouver, BC on the traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, Kaitlan expresses gratitude for the opportunity to live and learn from these rich cultural landscapes.
