With more than 25 years of experience in event production, Jen Marhenke brings deep operational expertise and a practical, boots-on-the-ground approach to sustainability in sports and live events. Over the past decade, she has led efforts to integrate environmental responsibility into event planning and execution—reducing waste, conserving resources, and helping organizations meet their sustainability goals.
Jen is the Director of Sustainability at Rico Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in sports and event sustainability, and serves as an Event Verifier for the Council for Responsible Sport. She works alongside event producers, vendors, and community partners to design and implement programs that deliver measurable impact.
Known for her collaborative style, Jen values continuous learning and actively engages with the broader sustainability community through professional memberships and peer exchange. Her work is driven by the belief that progress comes from shared purpose, practical solutions, and doing the work—together.
