Ira L. Rosen is the President and CEO of Ira L Rosen, LLC, a consulting firm providing strategic services to the worldwide festival and event industry. He is a highly regarded global leader whose decades of experience specialize in core areas of event risk assessment, creative event design, evaluation, and practical strategic development.
Mr. Rosen's extensive professional career includes over thirty years as the Owner and Operator of Entertainment On Location, Inc. (EOL), a full-service event production and consulting company. Prior to EOL, he spent over seven years with Radio City Music Hall Productions. His production background is extensive, including high-profile projects such as the Super Bowl half-time show, major corporate and tourism development events around the world, and multi-million-dollar parades.
From 2008 to 2023, he served as an Associate Professor of Event Management at Temple University, where he developed and managed the award-winning Event Leadership Executive Certificate program. He continues to serve the school as an Adjunct Associate Professor.
A sought-after global speaker and writer, Mr. Rosen has conducted training programs and delivered featured addresses around the world, including the keynote at the World Cultural Heritage Forum in Suncheon, Korea and a featured presentation at the UK Global Crowd Management Alliance Conference. He has written and spoken extensively on key industry topics ranging from risk management and sponsorship to financial and operational event management. He recently co-wrote a textbook entitled Festival Management: Planning, Designing and Delivering Events Globally, published in October, 2026.
Mr. Rosen is an inductee into the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA) Hall of Fame, an honor bestowed upon only 75 people worldwide. He holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Montclair State University and maintains key professional certifications as a Certified Festivals and Events Executive (CFEE) and a Certified Event Designer (CED). He has received numerous awards from Temple University, the International Live Events Association (ILEA), the IFEA, and others.
